I'm fascinated by this video of an Italian chef making 'tomato bread soup'. Everything about this, the continuous addition of olive oil, his unironically worn puffy chef hat, his happy humming while he cooks, and the totally insane final preparation of a dollop of soup in a bowl made out of a fist-sized sphere of mozzarella is just so much I'm speechless.
I could make this recipe. In fact that's the appeal of Italian cooking, there are few ingredients and it's mostly about how you put them together.
I could make this recipe but I don't know if I'm brave enough to try.
