Kombucha
I made a lot of kombucha until I decided it was too much caffeine and I threw my scoby out. I kind of want to try again with decaffeinated black tea.
It took me two tries before I found a kombucha for sale that was alive enough to spark my own culture.

Total preparation time is 70min
- Boiling water - 30min
- Cooling - 30min
- Adding ingredients - 1min
Ingredients
- Kombucha - store bought live culture
- Water - 4-5 quarts (4.5L)
- Black tea bags - 7
- Sugar - 1 cup
Method
- Boil water with sugar and steep teabags for 3 min
- Let cool
- Add to scoby or the live kombucha culture
- Let sit on counter to ferment
